Developmental Edits

Developmental edits look at the entire story including the plot, character developmental and the overall arcs. I ask a lot of questions during developmental edits and make recommendations to increase pacing or tension.

I will read your manuscript twice and offer a plot and character analysis, in addition to a 60-minute Zoom meeting.

Cost is $.015 per word.

Line-by-Line Edits

Line-by-line edits include looking for wordiness, passive voice, continuity, word choice, pacing, and the order of words. Line-by-line edits don’t make recommendations for changing the plot or characters but improve the flow of the words themselves.

I will read your manuscript twice and make recommendations within the document, in addition to a 60-minute Zoom meeting.

Cost is $.0125 per word.

Developmental and Line-by-Line Edits

I will read your manuscript three times, make recommendations within the document, do the developmental analysis along with the line-by line recommendations, and offer two 60 minute Zoom meetings.

Cost is $.02 per word.
