About Theresa

Theresa is the author to the Dad’s Playbook to Labor and Delivery and Warehouse Dreams and countless articles on pregnancy, birth and parenting. While her non-fiction writing helps pay the bills, her true love is speculative fiction. In addition to writing, Theresa is a voracious reader (click to see what she’s currently reading). While her favorite authors are Ilona Andrews, Seanan McGuire and Jodi Taylor, Theresa will read just about anything someone hands her, saying ‘Read this! It’s so good!’.

Theresa enjoys interacting with other writers and helps to produce a writing Podcast called the Semi-Sages of the Pages. She co-runs a writer’s group in Temecula that meets once a month, and belongs to various critique groups. She enjoys Beta-reading and will talk about writing to anyone who will listen (including her poor husband).

When not writing, or reading Theresa enjoys board games, trying new restaurants in Southern California, traveling and Disneyland. A pop-culture geek, Theresa attends Comic-Con and Wondercon with her family. She usually drinks way too much caffeine, at times, too much wine and is addicted to cursing. She lives with her husband, on occasion, her college-age twins and the pets her kids promised they’d care for.
